      Heritage Certificates

Do you own a historic vehicle and would like to know more about its history?

If so, then perhaps we can help you with a certificate of vehicle authenticity.

Within our archive collection held at Coventry Archives we hold a number of local vehicle registration ledgers, plus many company chassis build records relevant to Coventry motor manufacturers.

Our vehicle registration ledgers cover the 1940s to the 1970s for Coventry, and 1964-74 for Solihull, and we have chassis build records for Humber, Talbot, Sunbeam-Talbot, Hillman, and Armstrong-Siddeley.

If details of your vehicle are located, we can supply a transcript of the information on a Certificate of Vehicle Authenticity along with supporting letter.  Heritage Certificates cost £40 to £55, and will add greatly to the history of your vehicle.
